AI Product & Partnerships Director – Central London / Hybrid – Global Digital Media Agency – Competitive Package

The Role:

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Product & Partnerships Director will work within the team structure, reporting to the Head of Digital Product & Partnerships. This role is split across two core areas of focus:

  • Reseller, GMP & Funded Opportunities: Supporting the commercial management of technology reseller relationships (GMP, Amazon Reseller) and identifying partner and client funding opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Agency-Development Team Alignment: Acting as the critical conduit between agency business needs and our development teams (CSA), ensuring technical products and solutions are aligned with commercial priorities and client requirements.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the company delivers best-in-class Ad Tech and AI-powered solutions that enhance client outcomes, while maintaining a focus on company's core pillars: People, Fame, Fortune, and Force for Good.

Key Responsibilities:

Reseller, GMP & Funding Support
  •  Support the management of strategic relationships with key technology partners to maximise commercial opportunities for Advertising Technology solutions, including SaaS reseller programmes (GMP, Amazon Reseller).
  •  Identify, scope, and align partner and client funding opportunities to support the development of innovative solutions.
  •  Work closely with the Head of Digital Product & Partnerships to develop partnership strategies that scale solutions across client portfolios.
  •  Track and manage funding applications, income streams, and associated costs to ensure delivery against commercial targets.
  • Support the delivery of funded technology solutions and client-specific projects (e.g., PAD Funding, GCP funding).
Agency-Development Team Alignment
  • Act as the primary conduit between agency teams and team development teams (including the Data Science & Engineering teams in the London and Leeds offices), ensuring greater alignment with client and business needs.
  • Translate agency requirements into clear technical briefs, requirements, and specifications for the development team.
  • Facilitate regular communication between agency stakeholders and development teams to ensure project priorities are understood and delivered.
  • Build and maintain detailed specifications for the development team to scale viable proof-of-concept (POC) solutions into production-ready products.
  • Support the rapid prototyping team in delivering minimum viable products (MVPs) for app development initiatives.
AI Use Case Identification & Innovation
  • Proactively identify AI use cases across agency teams that can drive efficiency, effectiveness, and client value.
  • Lead the testing and evaluation of AI proof-of-concept solutions, working with development teams to assess viability and scalability.
  • Build business cases for viable POCs, including specifications for development teams to scale solutions.
  • Champion responsible AI practices across all initiatives, ensuring ethical considerations are embedded in solution development. 
 Internal Product Alignment
  • Collaborate with product heads and channel leads to identify and enhance solutions funded by partners.
  • Participate in regular internal sessions to align on product roadmaps and partnership priorities.
  • Actively contribute to improving the integration and rollout of Ad Tech and AI solutions tailored to client needs.
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Support the end-to-end management of partner-driven initiatives, including solution development, testing, and deployment across clients.
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects from conceptualisation to delivery, meeting all milestones and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across agency teams, development teams and global networks.

Ideal Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Ad Tech, digital media, or technology partnerships within an agency or media environment.
  • Proven experience working with technology partners, particularly within the Google ecosystem (GMP, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in media and advertising, with experience in identifying and testing use cases.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business/commercial teams and technical/development teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Strong project management skills with experience delivering cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital/biddable media and programmatic advertising.
  • Passion for innovation and emerging technologies, with a commitment to responsible AI practices.
