Applied AI Engineer ( LLM ) – Back End – Remote ( US ) – 12 Month Contract – Rate Negotiable – Immediate Start

A leading AI-driven solutions company is looking for a highly skilled Applied AI Engineer to join their dynamic team. You’ll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-powered tools, chatbots, and customer-facing AI solutions. Your expertise in LLM pipelines and agentic workflows will play a crucial role in making AI applications scalable, reliable, and high-performing.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and deploy AI-powered applications, data processing pipelines, and intelligent automation tools on AWS.
• Build and maintain backend systems using Python & FastAPI.
• Optimize AI model inference and integrate large language models (LLMs) into production environments.
• Work with tools like LangChain & LangGraph to drive AI innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
• Lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills with hands-on experience using FastAPI.
• Proven expertise in deploying AI/ML models on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience optimizing and integrating LLMs into production.
• Strong API development and Agile workflow experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with real-time audio streaming applications powered by LLM backends.
• Building accurate RAG systems for real-time AI predictions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps for ML workflows.
