Associate Director, Programmatic – Advertising Agency – $120,000 -$140,000 – Mar Vista / Hybrid

Overview

The Programmatic Associate Director is responsible for delivering successful programmatic media programs across a portfolio of clients. The Associate Director will provide thought leadership on audience strategies, optimization approach, and campaign architecture and will serve as a key lead in the expansion of relationships with agency partners and new partner opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist director in managing daily workflow and projects for programmatic programs
  • Co-direct and manage daily workflow and projects across departments
  • Expertise in DSP platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360)
  • QA campaigns for accuracy before launch
  • Review client deliverables for quality and viability
  • Deep understanding of programmatic platforms and optimization best practices
  • Lead communication with 3rd party vendors
  • Provide excellent communication via phone, email, and direct contact
  • Create and deliver client presentations
  • Provide thought leadership to clients
  • Conduct data analysis for performance improvement
  • Identify new programmatic opportunities for clients
  • Offer insights on technologies, partners, platforms, and creative opportunities
  • Stay updated on industry trends impacting clients' business
  • Well-versed in all aspects of campaign programs from concept to execution
  • Report to Programmatic Director and mentor programmatic team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering programmatic media programs across a portfolio of clients
  • Previous experience in co-directing and managing daily workflow and projects across departments
  • Ability to provide thought leadership on audience strategies, optimization approach, and campaign architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership in expanding relationships with agency partners and identifying new partner opportunities.
  • Expertise in DSP platforms, including but not limited to The Trade Desk and DV360.
  • Experience in QA campaigns for accuracy before launch.
  • Ability to review client deliverables for quality and viability.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and direct contact.
  • Experience in creating and delivering client presentations.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic platforms and optimization best practices.
