Associate Director, Social Activation – Global Media Agency – Atlanta / Hybrid – Up to $115,000

My partner is at the forefront of the converging marketplace executing data-informed, tech-enabled media to help marketers connect with consumers in a measurable way. They have offices in 7 different locations and present in over 100 countries with over 23,000 employees worldwide. They are a highly reputable organisation that has an extended reach due to its network they are a digital-first, data-driven global company focused on delivering solutions to drive value and growth in a platform-powered world. They are now expanding and looking for an Associate Director to join their Central Activation team.

Associate Director's Role

My client's Central Activation team provides a valuable service to Clients who are executing digital media campaigns but not having the time or resources to do it themselves. As we grow at a rapid pace across digital media, we are looking to add a talented and motivated Associate Director to help lead Social Activation for client engagement. This position requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial person to support all aspects of execution. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently and realize they will be a key component of a small and cohesive team.  

The Director will partner with team members within our global delivery network and collaborate with client partners to develop strategies and plans to execute media across social platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.  

Associate Director's Responsibilities: 

  • Train and manage staff within our global delivery network
  • Oversee execution of multinational social campaigns and ability to provide troubleshooting for campaign delivery and performance support
  • Be able to conduct a full analysis of campaign performance, optimizations, issues, etc.
  • Work with internal teams to provide clients with social media recommendations and optimization strategies that align with objectives
  • Establish workflows for collaboration between client teams and global support teams
  • Maintain knowledge of Social Platforms and evolving product offerings to develop structured training plans, team competence, and standard procedures
  • Deliver input on campaign goals, approaches, and methods to help establish success metrics and KPIs
  • Identify areas for opportunity to improve current procedures, and grow internal team capability
  • Serve as escalation point of contact for day-to-day accounts
  • Provide client service to agency partners and client teams working with

Associate Director's Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 4+ years of online advertising experience, with professional experience in the social space within the increasing level of responsibility within an agency or media company, including client-facing responsibilities
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience
  • Direct report management experience preferred
  • Experience collaborating with global counterparts for support
  • Experience buying and planning with social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Linkedin, Pinterest.)
  • Ability to strategically plan campaigns from audience determination, through how to flight and execute campaigns to align with client goals and KPIs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables & project timelines efficiently
  • Deep understanding of social metrics, how they interrelate so as to be able to guide the team to effectively leverage those levers
  • Working knowledge of ad tech platforms, manual bidding platforms, APIs, etc.
  • Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite

Salary:

$105,000 - $115,000 plus benefits
