Overview

Our client, a leading advertising healthcare provider for an Audience Analytics Manager to organize their audience analytics function and train a team of brilliant analysts in audience analytics. You will implement tools and strategies to translate raw PII data into valuable insights and recommendations. In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence. The ability to communicate these findings and strategies effectively inter/intra-department is crucial. The goal of this position is to ensure the efficient use of healthcare provider and health professional data to build audiences for marketing & advertising initiatives.  

As the Audience Analytics Manager you will:

  • Understand business needs and objectives to develop strategies for effective audience analysis and reporting
  • Prescribe solutions as an acting liaison between Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and other departments (Account Management, Sales, Advertising Operations)
  • Have experience working with multiple channels integrating 1st party data: Programmatic, Paid Search, Email, Social
  • Train and manage a team of Data Analysts on Audience segmentation best practices
  • Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies, append/ update new data, and ensure quality of Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
  • Can lead or supervise developers to build optimal segments and cohorts, and explain the benefits of change management to Sales and Account Management Teams
  • Translate raw data into actionable audience segments; identify trends from historical performance to offer best practices and strategies for future marketing initiatives
  • Build systems to transform raw data into actionable, automatable business insights
  • Keep abreast of industry news and trends

Experience and skills to succeed in this role:

  • Proven experience as an Audience Analytics Manager or Data Scientist
  • Experience with Identity Resolution, CDPs, and DMPs
  • Solid experience with or from an Identity Resolution Partner or Vendor (LiveRamp, Trade Desk, Criteo, Lotame, Bluekai, Merkle, Neustar, Throtle, Salesforce 360 Manager)
  • Background in market research and project management
  • Knowledge of Excel, Python and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio, SAS)
  • Superb communication skills
  • Experience coaching and training a team
