Audience & Data Strategy, Supervisor ( Planning or Buying ) – Global Digital Media Agency – New York ( Manhattan )/ Hybrid role – $95,000 + Benefits

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Audience & Data Strategy Supervisor to help manage our audience-based processes and projects on behalf of our client, a world-class digital media agency with offices in Manhattan. Given the uniqueness of this role and the cross-practice dependency on audience execution, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. We are looking for someone who can communicate across marketing functions and has varying levels of experience with segmentation, creating connections between media & data, and various client needs.

This position is both strategic and tactical in scope and requires the ability to apply detailed audience knowledge to actionable insights and recommendations. This person will assist the Director in driving strategic Audience expertise within the team as well as helping to develop innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the full audience creation, tech flow, and measurement  from start to finish
  • Translation of client audience requests to audience segmentation recommendations
  • Creation of audience segments utilizing a collection of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data within relevant tech platforms
  • Collaboration with internal and external parties to ensure the audience flow is properly completed
  • Assistance in various parts of the data QA process
  • Post-campaign consultation, crafting audience insights and making recommendations for audience-based optimizations
  • Act as the subject matter expert on audience data and marketplace capabilities
  • Track and enforce timely audience activation flows by ensuring all parties are meeting deadlines and providing required deliverables, leading status calls and summary emails, and more
  • Manage relationships with external industry data partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in media planning/buying within an agency or media company, and/or execution of audience segmentation work
  • Experience working with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data in various applications
  • Experience with process building/workflow documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills allowing individual to explain how audiences were developed, what they entail, and how they are executed
  • Excellent relationship-building and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Other preferred traits include a hand-raising attitude, high attention to detail, ability to keep meticulously organized, and taking initiative on projects
