Purpose of the role:

You’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by deepening relationships with existing clients and winning new business opportunities. Working closely with our delivery, 360 and operations teams, you’ll expand our footprint across core markets, translating warm relationships and high-potential leads into lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • New business development, identifying and targeting new accounts
  • Managing and developing existing accounts (as applicable)
  • Understanding client requirements at both a strategic and tactical level to be able to offer the best business solutions
  • Building strong commercial and long-term relationships with prospects and clients
  • To identify new opportunities for product development within designated market sectors
  • Work collaboratively with other business areas to leverage opportunities and develop joined-up propositions
  • Conducting sales meetings and presentations with prospective clients
  • Develop and maintain market knowledge
  • To achieve personal KPIs and sales targets

How is the role measured?

  • Revenue generation from existing clients
  • Supporting the conversion of new enquiries
  • Client feedback
  • The development of client relationships
  • The proliferation and sales of company product solutions, including permanent, contract and retrained solutions
  • Geographical and technical market client expansion
  • Retained exclusive work with clients
  • Ability to retain clients and facilitate new introductions

What will you do on a daily basis? 

  • Set up virtual and face-to-face meetings with clients
  • Generate enquiries through market and cold calls
  • Follow up on enquiries and leads generated by the sales team
  • Agree and renew commercial terms
  • Produce sales documentation and presentations for customer engagements
  • Carry out training on business development and sales
  • Resolve business queries and win back old customers

Skills you will need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrate strong market, company and product knowledge
  • Strong verbal, written and face-to-face communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • A confident cold-calling and marketing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
