Customer Experience Optimisation Manager – Remote First (2 Days a Month in Office, London) – Up to £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Overview

A market-leading insurance group is looking to hire a Customer Experience Optimisation Manager to take ownership of digital customer journey performance across multiple consumer brands. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of CRO, Customer Experience, Digital Analytics, Product, and Marketing, with direct responsibility for improving conversion rates, customer engagement, retention, and revenue performance. You'll have the opportunity to shape optimisation strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and build a culture of experimentation across multiple established brands operating across the UK, Ireland, and Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey and optimisation roadmap.
  • Drive conversion rate optimisation initiatives across digital channels.
  • Build and execute an experimentation and A/B testing programme.
  • Leverage analytics, customer insight, and behavioural data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, UX, Pricing, and Engineering teams.
  • Deliver recommendations that improve customer experience and commercial performance.
  • Champion personalisation, testing, and customer-centric innovation.
  • Measure, report, and present performance insights to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in CRO, Customer Experience, Digital Optimisation, or Product.
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys and experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable business recommendations.
  •  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience within Insurance, Financial Services, Travel, or Digital Consumer businesses is advantageous.
  • Passion for innovation, AI, personalisation, and continuous improvement.
