Data Analyst - Marketing & Commercial/ Award Winning Company/ Google Analytics/ GTM/ SQL/ Python/ R- Central London- 45,000 plus ben   Data Analyst Role required for award-winning outfit in their Hampshire head office   Dedicated to our business you will be part of a brand new analytics team covering marketing, commercial, customer, and site-centric digital product analytics. Your role specifically focuses on marketing, commercial and customer analytics and reports to the Head of Analytics. You will utilise the power and insight that analytics brings to unlock growth, optimise marketing efficiencies and ultimately improve the financial performance. You will need to be super smart and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues in the marketing and commercial teams, based in in London.   Role   The Data Analyst role will be the subject matter expert in the following:  
  • Provide data-driven insight to support the decision making for the Commercial, Marketing & Customer teams.
  • Translating the data into actionable insight: eg: drawing actionable insights and explaining in a tailored way to your audience
  • Gathering and analyzing data from different source: eg: data extraction, data transformation, data manipulation
  • Conduct complex queries on our data warehouse to prove/disprove hypotheses about the business initiatives, creative, campaigns, customer behavior, etc.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide suggestions to improve and grow the business
  • Challenge and improve existing processes and metrics
  • Review and interpret automated reporting, giving insight to rest of the team
  • Define new automated reports required, and work with reporting team to automate them
  • Work collaboratively with other business unit to develop common approach and share learnings and insight
  • Opportunity to progress into predictive modeling of customer behavior
  What skills are required for the Data Analyst role   
  • 3 years minimum in an analytical role such as direct/database marketing analytics, digital marketing
  • Hands-on Experience with SQL, Excel, Python, R
  • Minimum 2:1 Degree ideally in a numerate discipline from top university
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing analytics and the broader concepts of marketing automation, databases and the campaign development and measurement processes, including attribution modeling
  • Previously worked with a large customer database
  • Able to work on several projects at the same time and prioritize effectively
  • Able to work efficiently and deliver projects quickly
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good general business acumen (preferable experience in data-rich analysis-driven organizations)
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with peers locally and internationally
  • Creative, proactive and eager to learn about our customers and their behaviours
