Digitally minded Analyst is required for a global research-led consultancy firm, that operates across different continents and industry. This client prides in using social media data and search engine, converting this into online strategies which produce tangible business benefits. About the Digital Analyst’s role
Digital Analyst playing a major role in company’s delivery team, will be responsible for understanding and interpreting large sets of data pulled out from search engines and social media platforms. The actionable insight into the online consumers’ behavioural motivations is used to map and understand the paths that brands should tread.
Main Digital Analyst duties include:
- Using relevant tools, such as Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe, Social Media Tool (e.g. Brandwatch) to identify and extract relevant data from search engines and social media platforms
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis of digital data, identifying insights (trends, patterns, themes, correlations etc.) that are relevant to the brief
- Creating dashboards and delivering real-time analysis of campaigns
- Converting analyses into insightful deliverables for clients
- Assisting management in the creation of white papers and showcase materials.
- Strong academic background with a combination of extracurricular activities
- Professional experience in market research or data analytics, ideally in a client-focused environment
- Extensive knowledge across both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies from both theoretical and practical perspective
- The ability to generate unique insights from the analysis and synthesis of digital data, with an applied understanding of statistical method
- In-depth knowledge of social listening and/or web analytics tools would be regarded as a strong advantage
- Fluency in English is mandatory, second European language is desirable
