My client is a rapidly growing, highly progressive and a highly experienced team of experts. Providing support digital experience enablement services, they also have an impressive client roster working with someone of the world’s leading brands.

They guide their clients onto a digital maturity path to ensure they get the greatest value from their data set by removing any inefficiencies or uncertainties around accuracy.

The Role: 

You will have a desire to become a specialist designing data layers which conform to our robust specification and configuring various Tag Management Systems to use them. You’ll be responsible for setting-up and maintaining third-party tracking within each client’s TMS, using both client and server-side technologies, as well as either web or app integrations. You’ll also take on development of our internal projects; improving the efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of what we do by building innovative new solutions that we can all use daily. More generally, you should possess a strong grounding in JS (including JSON) and HTML.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Client Enablement Specialist (who oversees all the client’s technical needs) within your skillset, working to a brief or direction provided by the Enablement Specialist.
  • Regularly working alongside an Enablement Specialist to ensure a client’s technical requirements are correctly interpreted, and that all potential challenges and caveats are identified.
  • Undertaking development work directly in the tools for which you are an engineering expert (primarily Google Tag Manager (GTM), Adobe Launch, and Tealium iQ). Most commonly this will consist of technical integration and deployment tasks.
  • Designing data layer architecture
  • Reviewing technical documentation for new tools and integrations
  • Testing various implementation tasks prior to deployment
  • Working towards an official developer certification for at least 1 of the core tools we operate.
  • Researching alternative tools or possible enhancements to existing workflows, then developing those features and integrating them within our current internal framework.

Skills Required

  • 1+ years Data Collection experience (covering at least some of GTM, Launch, Tealium iQ, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics)
  • 1+ years experience/responsibilities with auditing, developing, and maintaining technical frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent task management skills
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Slides (or equivalent)
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Sense of humour
