Product and Solutions, Business Director – London – SaaS, Analytics – Global Media Agency – up to £65,000 plus benefits

Overview

A global media agency united by their desire to create new media experiences for their clients and consumers and have fun whilst doing it. With the ambition to go beyond the traditional media descriptors of “Optimise, Capitalise, Maximise.” They do not be defined by the formulaic definitions of media. My client is looking for a Product and Solution Business Director within the worldwide Integrated Analytics team. This role requires a marketing professional with at least some exposure to analytic, software development, attention to detail and outstanding influencing skills.

Business Director day to day responsibilities:

  • Ownership and deep knowledge of each of the solution workstreams (use cases, business models, launch, implementation, monitoring, etc.)
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers in the developing teams to track status of each workstream
  • Develop (with support of senior leadership) and implement (with support teams) internal communication plans across Mindshare to increase uptake of tools developed
  • Supports leadership in optimal ongoing resource allocation (staff, time, suppliers) according to business needs
  • Generates regular program level reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Tracking and removing barriers to improvement; managing issues with humility, empathy and diplomacy
  • Evaluate demand and impact of new proposed solutions
  • Own briefs for development and implementation teams
  • Taking a methodical and logical approach to problem solving
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Business Director Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Project Management or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Exposure to marketing and media concepts to understand requirements, assess potential criticalities and oversee the impact of providing services and solutions
  • Strong project and product management skills that translate into planning several steps ahead of the team, as well as surface hidden risks. Ability to multitask on different projects under tight timeframes
  • Interest in Technology and being able to learn quickly regarding tech-heavy topics and tools
  • Addresses root causes behind issues, identifies patterns, comprehends big picture and long-term implications
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, patience, and tolerance for ambiguity. Must be able to work independently and make decision in a global virtual team setting
  • Knowledge of best practices of software and solution development (e.g., test-driven development, continuous integration, agile, front and back-end, etc.)
  • Project Management certification
  • Knowledge of business process analysis and exposure to software development methodologies and SAAS-based solutions
  • Proficient in drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, following product backlogs, writing user stories, case studies and developing acceptance criteria

You should be expected to champion and support the development of the Outcomes best practice approach to delivering campaigns, multi market strategy coordination and communication.
