As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in the team, conducting in-depth analysis and developing sophisticated models to understand and forecast power market behaviour.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate quantitative models.
Utilizing statistical techniques, machine learning, and data analysis to extract insights from complex datasets.
Developing and enhancing trading strategies based on your quantitative findings.
Contributing to the innovation and refinement of trading algorithms and risk management processes.

Requirements:

Strong background in quantitative disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or MATLAB for quantitative analysis and modeling.
Experience with time series analysis, stochastic modeling, and/or machine learning techniques applied to financial or energy markets.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Knowledge of the power/energy markets.
