Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate quantitative models.
• Utilizing statistical techniques, machine learning, and data analysis to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Developing and enhancing trading strategies based on your quantitative findings.
• Contributing to the innovation and refinement of trading algorithms and risk management processes.

Requirements:

• Strong background in quantitative disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or MATLAB for quantitative analysis and modeling.
• Experience with time series analysis, stochastic modeling, and/or machine learning techniques applied to financial or energy markets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Knowledge of the power/energy markets.
