Role
Web Analyst Role required for major digital agency in their North West head office
Your Company
Our award winning client has been operating for more than a decade and are a major player in website CRO. They are based in the North West of England and aim to grow rapidly in a few years due to the growth period they are going through. They have a great bunch of people and are now looking for a Web Analyst to join the team. They are looking for the right person who relishes crunching numbers, makes sense of what they see and translates quality data into real actionable results. You will be a key part of the outfit as we manage Optimisation Programmes, User Centric Designs and User Research for a breadth of clients. We use customer research insights, psychology and creative design to create the best hypotheses and you’ll be integral to working alongside our strategists, designers and developers.
Role
The Web Analyst role will be the subject matter expert in the following:
- Conducting audits of analytics configuration and tracking, to ensure data is accurate
- Presenting findings and suggested solutions to clients
- Implementing change when needed
- Provide actionable insights
- Advise on website CRO
- Finding answers to key business questions around clients’ websites and their customers
- Using data to measure and demonstrate the impact of the team’s work on client websites
- Translating what the data is saying into a story
- Identify client specific KPIs and create dashboards and reports to give clients and strategists a summary of website performance based on these KPIs
- Providing internal knowledge sharing and training
- 2+ years experience with and as a web analyst
- Extensive experience with Google Analytics or similar
- You’ll be able to create and use a range of reports to find intelligent, actionable insights, and will have good knowledge of tracking and tool configuration
- Proficient use of tag managers such as GTM, DTM, Tealium or similar
- Experienced in developing, implementing and delivering customised analytics strategies
- Capable of providing tracking, testing, measuring and reporting on tags
- Knowledge of A/B testing principles and experience analysing A/B tests would be advantageous
