School Daze: Digital Republic at Central Foundation Girls

School Daze!

This year, there has been an important conversation taking place around inclusion and diversity in tech. An equally important a dialogue took hold of the nation earlier this year when there were an unsettling stretch of violent crime taking place across the country.

The difficulties facing the younger generation are not new but they are unique. Despite the hardships, Digital Republic wanted to go out and speak to the young people directly.

Our message was very clear; we wanted to enlighten the demographic of this generation whose narrative in the media can be particularly gloomy.

Last night we were guest speakers at Central Foundation School for Girls in Tower Hamlets to GCSE and A Level media students.

There was an unbelievable magnitude of talent on show for the Oscar’s Evening. We wanted to go inspire the young women, but walked out amazed by the natural expertise in such a young generation. Well done to all the students!

A huge thank you to Mr. Luke William and the rest the Media department for allowing us to come in speak to your students, and we hope to see some of you making waves in digital in a few years time! A real school daze!!!
