Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer required for our client, a company consisting of a small, yet highly experienced team of digital analytics experts. Being a niche technical implementation Digital Agency. It is a great company for more technical Analytics practitioners. This client works with some of the major companies in the business (e.g. BBC, Adobe, Sainsbury’s, Argos, Saga, Guardian and Channel 4) and is recognised as a leader in the industry.
About the Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer role
Utilising Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer will be working within the Google Analytics ‘POD’ to deliver implementation support for all of the company’s clients.
Main Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer duties:
- Liaising with the internal teams to understand and refine implementation requirements
- Digital analytics related tasks including pageview and ad hoc events
- Optimisation and personalisation tool implementation tasks
- Marketing tag implementations
- Interpreting data layers to acquire the correct data for a task
- Testing all the code that you write to validate it against the original requirement including accessing the reporting data to provide a complete QA loop
- Extensive practical experience in plain JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Good understanding and experience of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
- jQuery knowledge
- Google Tag Manager Certification
- Experience with Google Analytics 360/Premium
- Optimisation tools such as Monetate, VWO or Optimizely
- Other Tag Management System experience (e.g. DTM, Tealium, Ensighten)
- Other analytics tools experience (e.g. Adobe Analytics)
- Great team-working skills
- Experience working in front end development
