About the Role
The Media Science team uses advanced analytics, machine learning, statistics, and algorithmic modeling to plan and optimize advertising investments. We partner closely with clients to translate business goals into measurable metrics and drive performance across all media channels. We’re looking for a Manager, Buyer Science to join the team and collaborate with strategists, analysts, data scientists, and software engineers. In this client-facing role, you’ll lead the data science arm of media campaigns, manage key relationships, and communicate insights and optimizations directly to senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary client contact for campaign optimization and data insights.
- Deliver meaningful analyses and compelling, story-driven presentations.
- Own the analytics, science, and optimization of multi-channel media campaigns.
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure performance consistency and measurement accuracy.
- Partner with internal and client leadership to design measurement frameworks, experiments (A/B, incrementality, geo-testing), and evaluate ROI across media.
- Stay informed on evolving trends in digital media, analytics, and data privacy.
Who You Are
- Master’s or PhD preferred (STEM disciplines strongly favored).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, modeling, optimization, or statistics (Python and SQL required).
- 2+ years managing senior stakeholder communication and presenting technical insights clearly.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving ability, able to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Comfortable working across data strategy, analytics, statistics, and algorithmic experimentation.
- Experience in digital (social, programmatic) and/or traditional (TV, OOH) media channels.
- Familiarity with ad serving, targeting, and attribution platforms (Google Ad Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.).
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, CM360, VideoAmp, etc.).
- Experience with local marketing or retail media is a plus.
Base Salary Range
$135,000 – $150,000, depending on experience and location
