My client is a pharmaceutical research, development, manufacturing, and commercial operations organisations. Operating for 16 years now and are enthusiastic and highly innovative when looking at what the future holds, with a headcount of 850+ professionals currently and looking to grow further. They’re actively involved in creating and producing pharmaceutical products and have a strong presence in various medical fields, including dermatology, oncology, and speciality injectable therapeutic areas. They are known for their contributions to the pharma industry, encompassing both proprietary and generic pharma products.

The Role

The Senior Analyst, Forecasting and Sales Analytics will be the main owner of forecasting activities as well as incentive compensation, supporting the Business Units. You will develop and maintain the forecasting model, develop, and oversee the sales incentive compensation plan, and model scenarios around market events and initiatives impacting the business.

Responsibilities

Work with business unit and sales leadership to develop revenue forecasts.
Track performance against these forecasts and perform analysis to understand performance against forecast.
Identify, research, and modify variances to forecast by changing business and market conditions and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Refine large quantities of information into concise, useful, and meaningful management reports, with an emphasis on providing timely and accurate answers to key business questions.
Work with sales leadership to develop Sales Incentive Plans. Measure and Track Sales Incentive performance throughout the year.
Support strategic forecast initiatives designed to improve the quality of the forecast and close the identified gaps.
Assists with special projects as required.
Experience Required
High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas and some VBA experience).
Additional data handling technical skills, such as SQL and Python are desired.
Ability to work with imperfect data and manage ambiguity to support business decisions.
Ability to work independently on data analyses and combine multiple data sources across multiple views to uncover trends.
Great business sense with presence to share thoughts and make a difference.
Excellent organizational, problem‐solving, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management, analytical, and financial modelling experience.
Self‐starter with the ability to build new capabilities over time.

Salary Package

$100,000 - $120,000, plus bonus and bens
