Azure Data Engineer / Consultant – 3-Month Contract – Remote
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineer / Consultant to join our client in delivering Phase 1 of their Data Warehouse (DWH) program.
- Project Length: 3 months, with phase 2 projected thereafter
- Location: Remote
- Contract Status: Outside IR35
Phase 1 of the DWH programme will load data from different suppliers into three separate layers:
- RAW – an initial layer with the data held almost in an identical state to the suppliers. File and supplier metadata will be added to this layer.
- Staging – an intermediate layer where the data will have automated transformations and business logic applied to it
- Analytical – an analytical layer that will hold the full historical data ready for analytics and reporting. The details of this to be decided and may go through multiple iterations. Data architecture, including the enterprise data model, still to be decided.
Technology in use:
- Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage (ADLS for hierarchy) and Azure SQL
Requirements:
- Azure Data Engineer Associate DP-203 And (OR)
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-305
