Senior Data Engineer – $130,000 + Benefits – Chicago/Atlanta – Hybrid

My partner is at the forefront of the converging marketplace executing data-informed, tech-enabled media to help marketers measurably connect with consumers. They have offices in 7 different locations and are present in over 100 countries with over 23,000 employees worldwide. They are a highly reputable organisation with an extended reach due to its network they are a digital-first, data-driven global company focused on delivering solutions to drive value and growth in a platform-powered world. They are now looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their established team.

The Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will develop and deliver solutions that enable our agency teams to win in a very competitive marketplace. You will be working with a Product Owner and other data engineers to deliver transformative solutions. The right candidate will be somebody who is motivated to get it done together, loves to continually learn and builds software utilizing modern technologies and strong engineering practices. We are looking for a high-performing Data Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and on-going support of a data-driven software platform. The candidate should be able to enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously, including both enhancements as well as new project development. The candidate must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality and professionalism. In addition, background in the following areas will significantly elevate the candidate's ability to hit the ground running:

• Strong understanding of media measurement and currency datasets
• Cloud infrastructure and data processing technologies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience with building ETL pipelines using Python.
• Experience and thorough understanding of RESTful APIs is required.
• Knowledge of a variety of digital marketing platform APIs is preferred.
• 7+ years' experience with SQL and databases.
• Comfortable with data warehousing concepts, preparing data, and configuring automated workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as an analytical mindset.
• Experience with complex logic.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Experience connecting and merging disparate datasets.
• Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
• Possess a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:

Up to 140,000$, plus benefits
